Steve Lyon at BNI Sweden has been appointed Professor in Hydrology at the Department of Physical Geography at Stockholm University.

Professor Lyon's research centers on how to best observe and represent hydrologic processes at multiple scales and the associated transport of nutrients.

Unraveling these feedbacks has significant implications for the viability of climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies associated with the current and future sustainability of coupled terrestrial and aquatic systems.

The inauguration ceremony is held at the Blue Hall, venue of the Nobel Prize banquet, of the Stockholm City Hall on Friday 30th September 2016.
